Painting a van

Have you ever looked at a vehicle and thought "man, that van could use a nice splash of crazy spray paint!" no? yeah i am not surprised however we did and it was fun. all you need is a vehicle, paint and creative volunteers to paint. the dragon was my personal contribution to the process.

full version of the masqurade mask

Previously i posted a couple of photos of my masqurade mask before it was finished and did not offer much explanation. so here it is. One day my friends decided to have a party however you only gained entry to the party if you wore a mask. hense the masqurade. Somehow i managed to get ahold of a plain white full face mask. After planning it out in my head i cut the mask to size (top photo)

Then i painted it black and applied a coat of spray glitter. i found a bag of fake feathers and glued them on. the end result is the lower photo.

literaly adrift in creativity

On a beach one day with friends they guys ran off and decided to build a raft. we laughed it off as a joke. well they did it. using only things found on the beach they built a raft out of driftwood. it was pretty impressive. they were adrift in their own creativity

Masqurade mask part 1

So have you ever been to a craft store and found those white masks. well a group of my friends did and then decided on a masqurade. so i bought a mask and painted it black. then i found some spray glitter silver paint and threw some that on. i did glue some feathers on however i havent uploaded the photo's of it yet.

sushi

Yes i said sushi. as you will find out i love anime. in a lot of the shows they eat sushi and so i decided that i should make some. i had a basic understanding of sushi and how to roll it however i asked a friend to help because she knew how to make it. we took sticky rice and an assortment of meats, fish and vegetables and began rolling. tasty tasty creativity.

More mountains

yet again more mountains. the inspiration that pours into me when i look at them is astounding. the great majesty is kool. anyway these are taken with my first camera on my lunch break.

My first costume

so this picture was taken some time ago however i like it still. i am the one on the right. this coat i made was based on the anime "pandora hearts". i loved the show and decided that it would make an awsome halloween costume.

it started as an ugly floor legnth coat in that awsome shade of red. i had never sewn anything before so i had my friends help. i found the white fabric at my local second hand store and got sewing. it took at least 2 days for me to make this even with help. however it was worth it.

A great way to get rid of writers block. For me at least.

Do you ever have thoses days when you want to write but have that annoying invisable wall preventing you from doing so? i do all the time and i have found sitting down with a good puzzle helps that.

A day out to see alice

A few years ago myself. miss R, and a group of friends went to watch the new Alice in wonderland in the theatre. However we arrived a few hours to early. So we did what any group of creative young ladies would do. we made commemorative t-shirts for the occasion. All we needed were white t-shirts (giant tiger) and a pack of sharpie's. it was great fun and the shirts looked awesome!

For the love of mountains

What can i say about mountains? they are almost instant inspiration to me the majesty that they create is amazing.

Ninja pants #1

These are my first attempt at ninja/ shinigami pants. I got the idea when i was watching an anime called Bleach. As you will find with me i dont use patterns if i can help it. these pants were no different. I found fabric and got sewing. The whole process of designing, planning, cutting and sewing took roughly 3 hours as they were the second thing that i had ever sewn. They are super comfortable and made out of flannel.

First things first, but not necessarily in that order.

I do not like painting. Its not my medium and my boss knows it. However i still managed to paint this cute little thing on the store windows. My boss had me paint him and i have to say he turned out well.
